Music

I recently heard this Isaac Watts hymn put to a fantastic tune at St Judes. It turns out that the new arrangement is from these folks over at Indelible Grace Music.

My soul obeys th' almighty call,
And runs to this relief
I would believe thy promise, Lord;
O help my unbelief!
To the dear fountain of thy blood,
Incarnate God, I fly;
Here let me wash my spotted soul,
From crimes of deepest dye.

I'm fairly immune to music, but the words and tune intersected in such a way that it gives me a lump in my throat every time I hear it.

I introduced them to that song (O Help My Unbelief)! My greatest triumph. Indelible Grace are awesome.

Incredible Grace Music has a beautiful site. But I couldn't find this hymn. Is the title other than the first line?

@ Andrew: Good work!!
@ Dad: St Judes does it better then the sample track but the key change and basic tune is the same.

Try looking at the samples of cd's, it's on the latest album and the second track.
email me if you still have trouble and I'll send you a direct link.

GREAT tune. We do this at Sojourn a pretty fair amount, being unabashed fans of Watts.
